Origin: Hay Man was a regular scarecrow put in a field in White Lake, New York in the late sixties. That field was later used as the site of the now-famous Woodstock Music Festival. On August 15th, 1969, a jar of what might have been brown acid was accidentally thrown on the scarecrow. With the mix of brown acid and loud music, the scarecrow came to life, and became the superhero known as Hay-Man.

Powers: Hay Man has mystical powers of peace and love, which at times seem to allow him to travel through time and space. He is "in tune" with all that is "groovy."

Equipment: Hay Man's cape is also a towel.
