The New A-Team was started by Guy-With-A-Gun (while using the superhero name, The Fighting Canadian) to be a superhero team that would rival The Beef League, The Captain Company, The X-Men, The Avengers and The JLA. Inspired by the success of the New X-Men, Guy-With-A-Gun recruited heroes from around the world, with The Star Spangled Crab from the United States, Spider-San from Japan and Senior de la Noche from Mexico. The group has had varying degrees of success, and both Spider-San and Senior de la Noche left the group before they encountered any super villains. Arch-enemies: Year 2000 Bug.
