From "The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film":
You might have been appalled (and delighted) watching The Creeping Terror because it had no dialogue, just offscreen narration. Well, this hour-long amature movie uses the same silent technique and it's even worse! The "star" is the huge and famous Tor Johnson who, as a Russian atomic scientist, is chased into the desert by Communist agents with guns. They actually miss his 300-pound-plus body from about 30 feet away. When Tor walks right into the blast of an atomic bomb, he is reduced to "nothing." He lives in a cave, carries a big stick, kills people and eats hair. The narrator repeats absurd philosophical lines over and over ("Flag on the Moon- how did it get there?") and informs us of things after they've happened on the screen. The actors stare blankly waiting for direction. At the end, as Tor is dying, he is shown holding and being licked by a rabbit. A senseless non-movie, worse than anything Tor did for Ed Wood, Jr.. Director Coleman Francis also edited the film.
From "Leonard Maltin's Movie and Video Guide":
BOMB. Johnson becomes a disfigured monster as a result of an A-bomb test. One of the worst films ever made, presented as a virtual silent film with voice-over narration. Subplot of a succession of voluptuous women being strangled bears little relation to the main story.
