While goofin' around with a telepathy helmet at the zoo, Jimmy accidentally switches his mind into the body of a gorilla and vice-versa! Even Superman can't reverse the process, so Jimmy goes about his regular life, but as a gorilla. But when he frightens Lois Lane and Perry White, he has to wear a sign that says "BONZO INTELLIGENT GORILLA! TAME! NO DANGER!" Eventually, Jimmy starts fighting crime with his new-found gorilla-powers, and even rescues Clark Kent from being trapped in a safe. Later, Jimmy's gorilla-possessed body escapes from the habitat that Superman created for him, and, coincidentally, finds the telepathy helmet. While playing with it, the "curiosity of his gorilla mind" switches Jimmy's mind back into his own body, and the gorilla's mind back into the gorilla. The suprised gorilla, with his proper mind returned, snaps and kills Perry White.
