The Red Ghost and his group of Super-Apes (which include a super strong gorilla, a magnetic orangutang, and a shape-shifting baboon), capture Tony Stark, to force him to buid a Cosmitronic Cannon that will stop the Red Ghost from fading away into nothing. Tony Stark builds the contraption and cures the Red Ghost. However, that naughty, naughty Red Ghost still orders his Super-Apes to kill Tony Stark, who cleverly creates a distraction, and turns into Iron Man (with a nose). Iron Man (with a nose) and the Super-Apes fight, with the highlight being the shape-shifting baboon turning himself into a flying buzzsaw. After beating the apes, the Red Ghost turns himself intangeable, which reverses the Cosmitronic Cannon's cure, and fades away to nothing. Iron Man (with a nose) then has the Super-Apes put in a zoo.
